Background

As a resolution of the ICKE2009 conference, a South African Knowledge Management Professional Association (SAKMPA) has been established. Currently, it has an interim structure which will be dissolved in its first meeting in August 2010 to give way to a democratically elected structure. the constitition is available and is circulated to those who have registered. Those who wish to be registered are invited to complete a registration form.

The interim structure is in the processes of opening a bank account and the interim subscription fee is R150,00 a year until things are sorted out in this first meeting.

Purpose of SAKMPA

To develop knowledge management professionalism within South Africa.

Objectives

These will be defined at the first meeting.
